Behind the Therapy Room: Meet Your Therapist
Meet Christina Rambhajue: An Indo-Guyanese Canadian Therapist Supporting Your Mental Health Journey in Ontario
“Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but finding the right support can make a meaningful difference.”
As an Indo-Guyanese Canadian therapist, I recognize that conversations about mental health are not always openly discussed within many families and communities. Cultural values, stigma, and the pressure to navigate challenges privately can sometimes make reaching out for support feel difficult.
My goal is to create a safe, compassionate, and culturally sensitive space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as you explore your experiences, build coping skills, and move toward meaningful change.
My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. Using evidence-based approaches, including CBT, ACT, and attachment-focused work. Together, we explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and experiences to build self-awareness, healthier coping tools, and stronger connections.
You deserve support that meets you where you are. Whether you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for change, therapy can provide a space to reconnect with yourself and create a path forward.
With warmth and gratitude,
